Both models included gender, age, body mass index, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, p22-phox C242T polymorphism, diabetes mellitus, calcium channel blockers use and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors/angiotensin receptor blockers use as independent variables.
