Pedigree and pure-tone audiograms of family SB246 (a) and 224 (b). SB246–482 and SB224–437 showed bilateral, severe, and symmetrical SNHL. SB246–483 and 484 showed bilateral, moderate, and symmetrical SNHL. In all subjects, hearing at low frequencies was significantly preserved. SB224–437 had cochlear implantation at the age of 20.
