  2. b. RH haplotypes in the different Rh phenotypes were determined considering the CcEe phenotype, the RHD zygosity determined by PCR and the segregation analysis of the Rh antigens in each trio. In those cases in which different combinations of haplotypes could be assigned to a given sample, the combination requiring the least number of infrequent haplotypes in both parents was chosen as the most plausible explanation.
