Analysis of DNA from CFBE41o^- (A) and 16HBE14o^- (C) transfected cells at optimal lipid/DNA charge ratio (6+/1- and 2.2+/1- respectively) and harvested at 24 h (lane1), 48 h (lane2), 72 h (lane 3), 96 h (lane 4) and 120 h (lane 5) after transfection. Lane 6 corresponds to untransfected cells. Densitometric analysis revealed that the maximum correction efficiency in CFBE41o^- is reached at 24 h after transfection (B), while in 16HBE14o^- at 48 h and again at 120 h after transfection (D).
