Haplotype frequencies were estimated using the Haplo. Stats program. Haplotype 1(rs2001350T/rs6726395A/rs1962142A/rs2364722A/rs6721961T) was associated with annual decline in FEV₁ with a haplotype score of -2.988 and a simulation p value of 0.002. Haplotye with frequencies less than 0.05 were excluded.
