Equilibrium frequencies for heterozygous advantages, Sadv, of 0.1%, 1%, 5% and 25% are shown for a range of homozygous deleterious effects, Sdel, ranging from 0% (no deleterious effect) to 100% (allele is lethal or homozygotes are always sterile).
