TRG = triglycerides, Δ = the t-dist procedure used in SOLAR, σ g 2 and σ e 2 are estimates of polygenic and environmental variances, σ g , m 2 and σ g , f 2 are estimates of male and female polygenic variances, σ e , m 2 and σ e , f 2 are estimates of male and female environmental variances. Significance level of 5% was used in the comparison and selection procedure of the best model.
