  1. Data are number of subjects in each group, at age 50 years, and number of subjects for each genotype (% in each group). Minor allele frequency (MAF) for each group is given in percentage. Odds ratio (OR) with a 95% confidence interval (CI) was calculated assuming an additive model. Association with overweight and obesity was determined comparing subjects with normal weight (BMI < 25 kg/m2 ) and overweight (BMI = 25 kg/m2 ) and subjects with normal weight (BMI < 25 kg/m2 ) and obesity (BMI ≥ 30 kg/m2 ), respectively. HWE indicate p-values for deviation from Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium.
