  1. Haplotypes were estimated by using PHASE software (Stephens et al.). The association analyses and regression analyses for haplotypes were done by using Haplo. stats (Schaid et al.). P values for phenotypes were calculated from multiple linear regression analyses controlling for age, BMI, and number of parities as covariates except BMI phenotypes, which were adjusted for age and number of parities as covariates only. P values for phenotypes shown are co-dominant model. * P values for AUC_G, HOMA_B, HOMA_IR, and FPI were calculated after normalizing their data by applying logarithms
